The Chamonix Terrace (Piton Nord), above the 3842 restaurant, will be closed to the public from May 25th, 2026 for an estimated period of 4 to 5 weeks to carry out waterproofing work and install new decking.
The other areas, as well as the restaurants and the entire visit at the summit of the Aiguille du Midi, remain open as usual.

To round off your visit, make your way back down to the cab departure point and discover the retrospective exhibition on the construction of the ropeway and the view of its impressive machinery.
