We purchased the Mont Blanc unlimited pass which worked great at all the ski resorts — we had a lot of trouble on the buses, updating our reservation time for the Aiguille du Midi. Keep in mind that a reservation time does not mean you will get on the lift unless you show up an hour early and wait in line. Our pass also did not work on the ski buses and we had to pay for bus fare a few times when the buses weren’t crowded like sardines and the bus driver asked us to scan our pass. It is unfortunate that all of the amenities for the unlimited pass were unavailable and difficult to access.

It was a great experience. A must do while in Chamonix. Alone or as a family. It is outstanding.
